摘要

Concentration of greenhouse gas being generated from cowshed and livestock industries is steadily increasing due to technical innovations and development of large-scale farming. Methane gas is lcnown to be more influential on greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide owing to its higher heat-absorption rate. Proposed system suggested to resolve this problem monitors the amount of methane gas being generated from livestock farm excretions and litter used in animal barns in real time. Furthermore, it can also reduce the consumption of battery of sensor in use by applying hash algorithm and TinyMD5 technique. The amount of methane gas generated depending on litter replacement time can be reduced by comparing and analyzing data collected with this.
