The paper deals with the problem of precise determination of the local magnetic induction. The author proposes a new way of doing the measurements using the classical needle probe method. The proceeding algorithm combined with the proposed approximation of the AU voltage drop, contributes to a significant increase in the accuracy of the determination of the magnetic induction distribution in the zone near the cut edge.
