Design of 100W Regenerative Vehicle Suspension to Harvest Energy from Road Surfaces

摘要

In this study, we considered structure of regenerative suspension which is combined with linear generator to re-use vibrations absorbed by the suspension when the vehicle is driving on road surfaces. Then we carried out the optimum design to develop high efficiency linear generator which is up to 250W power, average power 100 W by using the experimental plan method. Finally we carried out an electromagnetic simulation to verify the result of optimum design, and we confirm the maximum power and the average power were 586.43 Watt, 214.98 Watt respectively. The proposed linear power generation system in this study could help keep power supply and performance in the emerging hybrid vehicles in the high-tech automobile industry.
