摘要
The concentrations of Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb, As, Zn, Ni and Cr in soil samples from the region of Eliseina metallurgical plant were determined by quantitative X-ray fluorescence analysis. The preparation procedure of the standards for the soil analysis is described. The obtained results pointed to the contamination of all examined soil samples with Cu, As, Pb and Cr and most of the soil samples with Ni and Zn. The results of the analysis were discussed from an environmental point of view and recommendations for improving the status of the soils in the region were made.
