摘要

In this study, metal complexes of baicalin (BMCs) with trivalent lanthanum, yttrium and neodymium were successfully prepared under weak base condition and fully characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. Combined with the determination of metal contents in BMCs, the structures of three metal complexes were confirmed to be similar. BMCs can suppress the oxidative stress of lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages, including decreased levels of cellular nitric oxide (NO) and ROS concentration. Meanwhile, BMCs increased superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-px) activities. And BMCs also can reduced the tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), interleukin-1 (IL-1 beta), interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression after LPS stimulated. Therefore, BMCs can be utilized in some aspect including anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation.
