摘要
The celebrated Rogers-Ramanujan identities have witnessed several combinatorial interpretations since its discovery by Rogers in 1894 and rediscovery by Ramanujan in 1913. Inspired by a recent 3-way partition-theoretic interpretation by Agarwal and Goyal, this paper gives a new result which is tantamount to a combinatorial generalization of the identities. As applications certain theorems on partitions with parity-alternating parts and plane partitions on a square are proved.
