摘要

We propose a hybrid approach for tensor field interpolation used in our fiber tract modelling. In the method, interpolation is performed separately for scalar fields of eigenvalues, and for orientation fields of eigenvectors. Through experiments by using synthetic data, its basic characteristics is evaluated and is compared with other approaches such as Log-Euclidean. Regarding determinant and fractional anisotropy values of interpolated tensors, the proposed method showed better performance than others. A fiber modelling result of the pyramidal tract in a clinical DTI data set based on the proposed method is also shown.
