摘要

A synthetic process about propyl-beta-cyclodextrins has been investigated through the reaction between beta-cyclodextrin and dipropyl carbonate by anhydrous potassium carbonate as catalyst in DMF, penta-substituted 6-O-propyl-beta-cyclodextrin was purified by silica gel chromatography. The structures of product were characterized by TLC, IR, MS, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR. Mass spectra and H-1 NMR proved the average degree of substitution of propyl-beta-cyclodextrin is 5. C-13 NMR proved the position of propyl at 6-position.
