Recent developments in the theoretical description of the four-nucleon scattering are discussed. Accurate results for neutron-H-3 and proton-He-3 scattering with realistic interactions below inelastic threshold are obtained using the variational hyperspherical harmonics expansion, and exact scattering equations in coordinate or momentum space. The momentum-space framework is successfully applied also to coupled proton-H-3, neutron-He-3 and deuteron-deuteron reactions below three-cluster threshold as well as to neutron-H-3 and proton-He-3 scattering above the four-nucleon breakup threshold.
