An Unusual 3D Interdigitated Network Structure of Bridging Coligands With Appended Hydrogen Sites

摘要

A new coordination compound, namely, [(H3DDA)(H4DDA)0.5 (H2bpe)0.5(H2O)] (1) (H4DDA = 4,4'-diazenediyldiphthalic acid and bpe = -1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene), has been synthesized and characterized by IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The adduct 1 exhibits a new 1D+2D?3D interdigitated architecture that is obtained from the self-assembly of the 2D hydrogen bonding sheet network directed by H4DDA, free water molecule, and H3DDA. Further, each sheet is interdigitated by the 1D chain formed by N-protonated bpe and H3DDA.
