New method of assessment of damages threat to building objects in the mining terrain

The mining-induced surface deformations are the reason of damages to buildings. The paper presents new method the assessment of threat to building, which can be accomplished by the comparison of so-called the predicted value of impassable horizontal strain to so-called the value of horizontal strain marking critical resistance of the building.
