摘要

The pollen content of the atmosphere in the city of Abomey-Calavi was analysed during the rainy season. A Hirst-type device was used to collect the particles. The daily mean captured was 35 grains of pollen and 12 spores per cubic meter of air belonging to 32 types and 7 families. The dominant taxa were: Acacia auriculufonnis (34.54%), Poaceae (30.59%), C. indicum (7.61%) and E. guineensis (2.38%). The correlation between pollen data and weather conditions was positive for the amount of pollen grains, temperature and wind speed, but negative for pollen grains and rainfall.
