摘要

The aim of this study is to check the proposed tenant-based resource allocation model in practice. In order to do this, two SaaS systems are developed. The first system utilizes traditional resource scaling based on a number of users. It acts as a reference point for the second system. Conducted tests were focused on measuring over- and underutilization in order to compare cost-effectiveness of the solutions. The tenant-based resource allocation model proved to decrease system's running costs. It also reduces system resource underutilization. Similar research has been done before, but the model was tested only in a private cloud. In this work, the systems are deployed into commercial, public cloud.
