摘要

The 77 K deformation substructures in a two-phase γ TiAl alloy with near fully lamellar microstructure have been investigated using transmission electron microscopy. Only (1/2) 〈110] ordinary dislocation was found in γ lath, while not only (1/2)〈110] ordinary dislocation but also 〈101] and (1/2)〈112] superdislocations were found in γ grains. Moreover, it was found that the fauted dipoles evolved from the pinned dislocation. It is concluded that the plastic deformation of the investigated alloy at 77 K is controlled not only by superlattice dislocation and faulted dipoles, but alos by (1/2)〈110] ordinary dislocation.
