摘要

Reliable soil properties play an important role in predicting the drivability of steel piles. There is great discreteness in the investigation data of RDPP1 platform in Yangcheng Gas Field, which results in difficulty in predicting the pile drivability. Therefore, these data can not be directly used in the prediction and it is necessary to determine a set of reliable data. Based on the existing investigation data and the driving record of test piles, back analysis method is adopted in determining the soil properties. A set of soil data is determined and applied in the prediction by using the one-dimension wave equation and a computer program. The prediction results agree well with the observation, which shows the proposed back analysis procedure is reliable in similar projects.
