A New Correlation for Viscosity of Nanofluids with Considering the Temperature Dependence

Nanofluid is an innovative heat transfer fluid with superior potential for enhancing the heat transfer performance of conventional fluids. Viscosity is a main thermodynamics property of nanofluids which has effects on the heat transfer characteristics of nanofluids highly. In this study a new correlation for predicting the effective dynamic viscosity of nanofluids has been developed and discussed. TiO2 nanoparticles dispersed in water with different volume fractions in the range 0-12 vol.% are used in the present study. The data are collected for temperatures ranging from 10 degrees C to 60 degrees C and the correlated equation shows good agreement with measured data the correlated equation is
