摘要

We have numerically studied the coupling behaviors between the plasmonic mode in metallic nanowire and the anisotropic waveguide mode in a hybrid anisotropic waveguide plasmon system. It is found that the coupling strength between the plasmonic mode and waveguide mode is closely related to the orientation of the optical axis in the anisotropic waveguide. By varying the orientation of the optical axis, two distinct electromagnetic coupling phenomena are found. The plasmon-induced transparency and absorption phenomena can be observed by changing the optical axis in the vertical plane. In contrast, these phenomena will disappear as the optical axis is varied in the interface plane. The findings hold promise in applications such as filters, sensors, and active tuning plasmonic devices.
