In the paper, a deliberation on methodology of modernization of the traditional Chinese medicines based oil the research and development of the new drugs from "Cao Wu" is described. This deliberation suggests a method to study meticulously and deeply the active components of the traditional Chinese medicines using the specific pharmacological models as index.
