A NEW CHARACTERIZATION OF L-2(127)

Let G be a group and pi(e)(G) be the set of element orders of G. Assume that k is an element of pi(e)(G) and let m(k) be the number of elements of order k in G. Set nse(G) := {m(k) vertical bar k is an element of pi(e)(G)}. In this paper, we give a new characterization of the simple group L-2(127) by the set nse(L-2(127)).
