摘要

Positron emission tomography (PET) is a powerful diagnostic tool, which provides superior spatial resolution and an opportunity to obtain quantitative information concerning distribution of radioactivity in vivo. Most interesting positron emitters for the purpose of diagnose are Cu-64, I-124, F-18, Y-86, V-48, Mn-52, Pr-140, As-72, As-74, Zr-89, Sr-82, Ga-68, Ga-66, Ti-45, Br-76 and Rb-82. Aim of the presented study is to compare the calculated cross sections of several radioisotopes of positron emitters as follows Y-86, Sc-3, Cu-64, 66Ga and 76Br with incident proton energy up to 30 MeV. In this work, excitation function of positron emitters via the Sr-86(p,n)Y-86,Ca-43(p,n)Sc-43,Zn-66(p,n)Ga-66, Ni-64(p,n)Cu-64 and Se-76(p,n)Br-76 reactions were calculated by ALICE/ASH 0.1 (GDH model and hybrid model) and TALYS-1.2 (equilibrium and pre-equilibrium) codes and compared to existing data. Requisite for optimal thicknesses of targets were obtained by the stopping and range of ions in matter (SRIM) code for each reaction.
