摘要

A composite composed of SiC filler and Si-B-C-N matrix retained its properties even after heat treatment at 2000 degrees C for 10 h in Ar. The weight loss of the composite was less than NO at 2100 degrees C. The composite showed excellent resistance to creep at 1400 'C in air and was strongly oxidation resistant at least up to 1450 degrees C. The material can be used for the fabrication of fiber-reinforced ceramic matrix composites with high thermal stability.
