摘要
Reporting in Molecular Cell, Tanaka et al. (2012) show that the Ku heterodimer recruits the condensin complex for retrotransposon clustering in Schizosacchromyces pombe. Histone H3 acetylation on lysine 56 blocks Ku binding and modulates this regulation of genome organization during the cell cycle and in response to DNA damage.
