Differential cross section measurements of the F-19(d,d(0)) elastic scattering for Ion Beam Analysis purposes

摘要

The differential cross sections of the F-19(d,d(0)) elastic scattering were determined at five backward angles from 125 degrees to 170 degrees. Two independent experiments were performed, one for the determination of the cross sections and one for the validation of the obtained results. In the first experiment, a thin (LiF)-Li-nat target was bombarded with deuterons in the energy region from 0.94 to 2.0 MeV. In the benchmarking experiment, a thick ZnF2 pellet was irradiated with deuterons at E-d,E-tab = 1.11,1.4,1.6,1.8 and 2.0 MeV.
