摘要

Bismuth titanate (Bi(4)Ti(3)O(12)) powders were prepared by the molten salt synthesis method in the presence of NaCl-KCl fluxes, using a mixed Bi(2)O(3)-TiO(2) mixture as the starting materials. The effect of temperature and duration of heating on the morphology and structure of Bi(4)Ti(3)O(12) powders was studied. The morphology of Bi(4)Ti(3)O(12) particles changes during the formation and growth processes. Finally, the aggregated particles change to discrete, plate-like ones and their size increased with heating temperature. The intensities of reflections, emerging from the (001) planes increase.
