SOWING DATE AND POPULATION DENSITY OF LINEAGES OF SOYBEAN UFU OF HALF LATER CYCLE

This work evaluated different densities population (10, 12 and 14 plants per meter) of six lineages UFU of half later cycle and four commercial cultivars (Chapadoes, Luziania, Msoy 8411 and Msoy 8914), sown in two seasons. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with 30 treatments in 3 replications in 2 seasons. It was evaluated the number of days to flowering and maturity, the plant height at flowering and maturity, the weight of 100 seeds and grain yield. The sowing date affected all traits evaluated. The productivity obtained in the first season was higher than in the latter. The witness Msoy 8914 in the first season showed a grain yield greater than 4000 kg ha(-1) at the three densities tested. The Lineage 2 (L2) highlighted it as a promising genotype to be launched in the market of commercial cultivars.
