摘要

Hemicellulose was isolated from corncob by alkali extraction. The hemicellulose was modified by maleic anhydride to fabricate a hemicellulose derivative. The hydrogel was prepared via a free radical polymerization, which was initiated by ammonium persulfate and N, N, N', N'-tetramethyl-ethane-1,2-diamine (TEMDA),with the hemicellulose derivative as a macro-crosslinker and acrylic acid as the monomer in the presence of sodium lingosulfonate (NaLS).Hemicellulose and its derivative were characterized by 1H-NMR and FT-IR.The impacts of maleic anhydride dosage and LiOH dosage on both the yield of hemicellulose derivative and the degree of substitution were also investigated. The impacts of NaLS dosage on the yield of hydrogel, internal morphology and water uptake ability were studied as well. The porous structure of the hydrogel was identified by SEM.The swelling properties of the hydrogel were also investigated. The swelling kinetics result indicates that the pseudo-first-order model was well fitted for the swelling process and a phvsical absorption was confirmed.
