摘要

Through a novel experimental approach based on a self-regulation loop using in situ Raman spectroscopy, the continuous flow microwave-assisted synthesis of submicrometer-sized olivine materials (for electrodes of lithium-ion batteries) with adjustable and reproducible particle-size distribution was made possible without the need of manual sampling during the production process for size, shape, and quality control. The electrochemical properties of electrodes utilizing the as-synthesized materials could be significantly improved compared to the case without a regulation. Moreover, our approach offers a new in situ tool for the investigation of the kinetics and the yield of the microwave syntheses.
