摘要

Progress of nickel-based catalysts for ethylene oligomerization to a-olefin has been introduced. The influences of the varieties, steric structures and properties of ligands in homogeneous nickel-based catalysts, the structures, properties of carriers and valent state of nickel cation in heterogeneous nickel-based catalysts on the reaction of ethylene oligomerization are discussed. Moreover, the reaction mechanism of nickel-based catalysts is clarified in detail. Finally, it is proposed that more attentions should be paid to the ligands with proper electronic effectiveness, steric structure and dielectric stability when synthesizing homogeneous nickel-based catalysts. On the other hand, the emphasis is focused on the new style carriers and the additive components for maintaining stability of active sites when developing heterogeneous nickel-based catalysts.
