摘要

An updated Lagrange formulation is derived for geometric nonlinear analysis of space frames considering the thermal-structural coupling effect. Large rotation and the sectional warping are taken into account. The temperature gradients considered is not only along the longitude of the beam but also along the circumference of the cross-section. The validity of the proposed method is illustrated by comparing the well-known numerical simulations in literatures or by ABAQUS. Then, thermal-structural analysis of the solar array of Hubble Space Telescope is presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme.
