摘要

The effect of electric power steering (EPS) system to vehicle handling performance was analyzed by combination of multi-body system dynamics (MBD) method with computer aided control system design (CACSD) method. A detailed multi-body system dynamics model for the full vehicle was established on MSC. ADAMS software, including the steering system, front and rear suspension system, and the tire system. In this dynamics environment, the EPS control system model is established on Matlab/Simulink software. This co-simulation model is verified by test data, and the relative error is below 6%, which is precise enough for the engineering application.
