摘要

A simple, rapid, and selective displacement solid phase extraction (D-SPE) procedure was developed for the preconcentration of trace Cu, followed by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric (ETAAS) measurement. This method involved the pre-sorption of lead diethyldithiocarbamate (Pb-DDTC) into a column packed with multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), then a sample or standard solution containing copper ion was added, and a solid phase extraction procedure was carried out. Because the stability of Cu-DDTC is larger than that of Pb-DDTC, Cu(2+) can displace Pb(2+) from the pre-sorbed Pb-DDTC and thus the separation and/or preconcentration of Cu(2+) from the complicated sample matrix is achieved. The influence of analytical parameters, including pH of the aqueous solution, flow rates of sample and eluent solutions, sample volume, etc., were investigated. The relative standard deviation (n=7) at the 10-ng mL(-1) level for copper was 5.5%, and the corresponding limits of detection (based on 30) was 7.3 ng L(-1). The method was successfully applied to the determination of copper in some water samples with satisfactory results.
