摘要

The modified experimental scheme for the fiber gas sensor is put out and implemented. By producing a fiber laser at a special wavelength which is a strong absorption peak of acetylene in the low loss transmission area of optic fiber, modulating the fiber laser which would be used to scan the whole acetylene absorption to get the sense signal, and detecting and proceeding the alternating current part and direct current part of the signal separately the exact information of gas concentration can be obtained. The relationship between the value of low-density acetylene gas and time has been measured, and the gas density is about 0.7-0.9% at final balance state. The experimental results prove that the scheme is available, and the sensor has good performance and simple structure.
