摘要

This paper proposes a novel watermarking method based on hypercomplex Fourier transform and visual attention, which is a method of image content copyright protection. Firstly, a salient region is auto-extracted by a saliency detection algorithm based on multi-scale phase spectrum of quaternion Fourier transform. Secondly, a copyright watermarking is chaotic scrambled in order to increase the security of watermarking. Finally, the copyright information is embedded into the salient region with the hypercomplex Fourier transform coefficients. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust to several common attack, such as Gaussian noise, salt and pepper noise, JPEG attack, and some special attack such as cropping and background replacing attacks.
