摘要

In this paper, nano-sized lead zirconate-titanate (PZT) powders were synthesized without using any excess lead content by a hydrothermal method based on the reaction of TiO2, Pb(NO3)(2), ZrOCl2.8H(2)O or Zr(NO3)(4).5H(2)O and KOH at 160 degreesC for 4 h. The powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The PZT powder consists of nearly homogenous and spherical grains with an average diameter of 5-10 nm. A possible formation mechanism is proposed.
