摘要

A microstructure based approach by means of representative volume element (RVE) was employed to predict the mechanical properties of ferrite-cementite steels. A 2D RVE numerical analysis was then conducted to investigate the influences of cementite content and distribution on ferrite-cementite steels. The numerical analysis shows that the deformation resistance of ferrite-cementite steel increases with the cementite increaseing while the zonal distribution of cementites decreases the plasticity of the steel.
