Anomalous Magnetoresistance in La(0.9)Sr(0.1)MnO(3)/Fe(2)O(3)

Nanometer powder Fe(2)O(3) was doped in polycrystalline perovskite manganite La(0.9)Sr(0.1)MnO(3) system. The composition was annealed at 1273 K for 8 hours. The X-ray diffraction showed that the two powders La(0.9)Sr(0.1)MnO(3) and Fe(2)O(3) kept in their structure and ingredient respectively after being annealed and there was no new phase engender. An anomalous enhancement of the magnetoresistance response was found in the vicinity of 336 K. It is noteworthiness that the resistance of this kind of sample increases with increasing magnetic field.
