摘要

Based on the industrial production of non-oriented electrical steel, rare earth (RE) alloy treatment during the RH refining process was studied. The results showed that the effects of desulfurization and total concentration of RE remained in steel mainly depended on the chemical compositions of different steel grades. For 1.15wt% Si steel grade, the desulfurization reaction mainly focused on the initial 5 min after RE alloy added during the RH refining process. The suitable RE alloy addition was 0.6-0.9 kg/t steel. Meanwhile, the desulfurization efficiency was optimal, about 50% or above. After the suitable RE treatment, the size of RE oxysulfide inclusions get bigger as the increase of RE concentration, and the recrystallization effects of hot rolled strip get bad. The grain size of finished steel sheets increased as the increase of RE concentration quickly, and then decreased. At the same conditions, the optimal RE concentration remained in steel was related to the chemical composition of different steel grade, and should be strictly controlled in the range of 2.0×10-3% to 6.0×10-3wt%. The core loss of finished steel sheets decreased as the increase of RE concentration quickly, and then increased slowly. The electromagnetic induction of finished steel sheets decreased gradually as the increase of RE concentration.
