摘要
In this article, an antenna system with orthogonal spiralpatches design capable of multiband operation at about 2.38-2.5 GHz and 4.20-6.00 GHz is presented. Simulated and measured results for main parameters such as return loss, impedance bandwidth, radiation pattern, and gains are presented and discussed herein. By combining two patches and exploiting the simple antenna diversity scheme supported by today's WLAN chip sets with related algorithms as maximal ratio combining (MRC), nonideal circular polarizing and non-symmetrical radiation patterns can be compensated and a semispherical radio coverage can be approximated, which make this design a suitable candidate for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WGAN applications.
