摘要
A differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) method for the determination of acetaminophen content in liquid pharmaceutical formulations under developing process is proposed. DP voltammograms were developed in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution pH = 5.0 at a Sonogel-Carbon electrode (SNGCE), whereas the pulse amplitude was 50 mV, the pulse width 0.4 s and the scan rate 5 mV/s. Results showed that SNGCE exhibited excellent electro catalytic activity towards paracetamol. The obtained linear calibration curves ranged from 100 to 350 mu mol/L of paracetamol, R-2 = 0.9914. Detection and quantification limits were 23.73 and 72.04 mu mol/L, respectively, which show acceptable sensitivity of the developed method. The proposed methodology compared to HPLC, emerges as a promising alternative that could help reduce the cost of analysis, specially at product development stage, as well as a useful tool for quality control purposes.
