Novel triple-mode resonators using split-ring resonator

Novel and compact triple-mode resonators have been investigated and designed using split-ring resonator (SRR) to obtain three controllable resonant frequencies. An even/odd-mode method is proposed. The current distributions are computed by commercial software. Several triple-mode resonators are designed and fabricated. Both simulation and measurement results are presented to show the good performance (of the resonators, which have excellent agreements.
