The inspection of steam generator tubes in nuclear power plants generates a large volume of data that needs to be analyzed. Manual analysis is time-consuming, laborious and results in operator inconsistencies. This paper describes physics-based signal processing techniques towards a fully automated analysis system for eddy current inspection signals.
