摘要
The paper describes findings of two studies of incremental predictive validity of indices of intellect and tolerance to vagueness with respect to creativity. In the first study tolerance to vagueness positively predicted creativity of the supercontribution of intellect. In the second study a similar, but negative link was discovered for intolerance. On the whole it was demonstrated that tolerance to vagueness is beneficial for producing a creative product while scales of intellect are reciprocally linked to intolerance. At the same time processes of accepting vagueness are included in actual genesis of new formations in interaction with the intellectual potential.
