摘要

Based on potential theory, a numerical code is developed to calculate 3 dimensional sloshing in FLNG liquid tank. Then, sloshing in tanks under different excitations is calculated, while effects of excitation frequency and modes are analyzed. It is found that the resonance phenomenon can be induced when horizontal excitation frequency equals to the natural frequency. Similar resonant sloshing can also be induced under unstable vertical excitation. Considering energy dissipation caused by viscous effects, artificial damping term is introduced in the governing equations, and good agreements are obtained.
