摘要

In this letter, we report a one-step electro-synthesis protocol for preparation of sucrose-and vitamin C coated magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs). The coated MNPs are electrodeposited through very simple and efficient procedure of direct current (DC) deposition by applying 5 mA cm(-2) into sucrose and/or vitamin C added aqueous solution of iron(II) chloride/iron(III) nitrate salts. The XRD results confirmed the pure magnetite phase for the prepared MNPs. Morphological observations of the prepared MNPs through SEM and TEM exhibited the uniform particle morphology with 10 nm in size. IR analysis presented all vibrations related to chemical bounds in the sucrose and vitamin C. TG analysis exhibits 10% vitamin C and 17% sucrose in MNPs composition. Magnetic analysis via VSM proved the superparamagnetic nature of the prepared MNPs.
