摘要

The calculation for a new structure of permanent magnet canned motor for a canned pump system is done using a three-dimensional(3D) finite element method(FEM). The motor has a simple structure without rotor iron core. For the leakage inductance of the end winding can not be ignored, a 3D numerical method is required. First, the 3D magnetic field of the motor is analyzed. Furthermore, the eddy current loss of the can is analyzed using a 3D transient FEM. Second, using an energy perturbation method, the self-inductance and mutual inductance of the windings are calculated in terms of different rotor positions under the rated load. In addition, the values of direct axis inductance Ldand quadrature axis inductance Lqare calculated by the coordinate transformation. Finally, the computed results of the inductance of the prototype are validated by the measured results.
