摘要
The reaction of [Ru-3(CO)(12)] with 1,4-benzoquinone, in a hydrogen atmosphere led to the formation of a product with the formula [(mu-H)Ru-3(CO)(10)(mu(2)-O-C6H4OH)] which crystallizes with two molecules of free hydroquinone in the asymmetric unit with which it forms an arrangement of hydrogen bridges leading to a layered structure of trinuclear metallic and hydroquinone fragments. Electrochemical studies showed that electrode inhibition is obtained by cycling of the oxidation process of this compound.
