摘要

Al-Si metal anode was fabricated by powder metallurgy. The anti-corrosion performance of Al-Si metal anode in molten cryolite at high temperature was investigated. The corrosion behavior of Al-Si metal anode was studied in electrolysis test. The electrolyte consists of Na3AlF6, CaF2 and Al2O3. The results indicate that the electric polarized corrosion rate is higher than the static corrosion rate of metal anode. SEM photographs show that an oxidation film forms on the surface of Al-Si metal anode, the external film is loose, however, the internal film is compact which can obstruct the further corrosion in molten salt.
