摘要

The wind-resistant design process of roof structures is a complex task due, inter alia, to the temporal-spatial distribution of fluctuating wind loading and to multimode vibration. This process can conceivably be greatly simplified in the case of availability of analytical expressions for the determination of the structural response. In this context, this paper develops analog filter approaches for the representation of wind pressure spectra on large-span roof structures. In conjunction with this representation, integrals which are determinable analytically are used to derive formulas that can be used to compute efficiently the wind-induced structural responses. For this purpose, the cross-spectral model is also approximated by the filter approach for the case of multi-degree-of-freedom roof structures. The validity and efficiency of the approaches are demonstrated by several case studies correlated with wind tunnel tests.
