摘要

The control of an induction motor drive without speed sensors, is formulated in a stator-flux-oriented frame employing a full-order closed-loop flux observer. Applying the MRAS approach enables the set up of the estimators for rotor speed, stator resistance, and rotor resistance simultaneously. A multi-input multi-output cross-coupled dynamic model is derived, which explains the instability problem inherent in the simultaneous estimation of motor speed and resistances. To achieve stable estimation, a stability criterion is established and a systematic design procedure for the estimators is proposed. The theoretical work is further verified by experiments which show that the proposed control strategy stabilizes the drive in both motoring and re,generating modes.
