摘要

Limited by its own dynamic range, conventional display device is not a good indication of the effect for HDR image. Tone mapping techniques attempt to establish a mapping from a high to low dynamic range, which can be used for the general image of the real image reproduction. In this paper we design a tone mapping algorithm based on human visual system (HVS). In this algorithm, a forward model is established first, which based on the photoreceptor cells in the retina of the eye response curve of luminance. Then a reverse model based on Weber's Law is created. Finally synthesize two parts of the model derived from our algorithm. Furthermore, Our algorithm also evaluated by objective evaluation method.compared with existing HVS-based algorithm, the results show that our algorithm has better performance.
